The 3 & 2 Baseball Club of Kansas City, Missouri

The 3 & 2 Baseball Club of Kansas City, Missouri has provided competitive youth baseball in Kansas City since 1943. For the past 44 years, the five field KC 3&2 baseball facility located at Bannister Road and Blue River Road has long been a place where families have built lasting memories while enjoying the great game of baseball. Many of the players have gone on to play high school and college baseball and a select few have been drafted and have played Major League baseball.

All Star Game Information

All Star Game Information for leagues and divisions

DATES:  Following are the dates for the All Star games for the leagues and divisions:

 

Friday, July 10 at 7:00 p.m.:  Rookie National League; Midget C American League; Midget B; Midget A

Saturday, July 11 at 7:00 p.m.:  Rookie American League; Midget C National League

 

FORMAT:  Each team will have the following number of players in the All Star game, depending on final standings.  Managers of the highest ranked team (e.g., 1st place team for 1/4/6, and 2nd place team for 2/3/5) will be the manager for the All Star game.  These managers should contact the other managers in their group to get player names and positions.  Each player should receive equal playing time in the All Star game, to the furthest extent possible.

 

 

·         Rookie American League – (6 Teams): 1st, 4th, & 6th versus 2nd, 3rd, & 5th) 20 players per All Star team

o       First Place team = 10 players

o       Second Place team = 8 players

o       Third Place team = 7 players

o       Fourth Place team = 6 players

o       Fifth Place team = 5 players

o       Sixth Place team = 4 players

 

·         Rookie National League – (5 Teams): 1st & 4th versus 2nd 3rd, & 5th) 20 players per All Star team

o       First Place team = All players

o       Second Place team = 8 players

o       Third Place team = 6 players

o       Fourth Place team = 6 players

o       Fifth Place team = 4 players

Team and League Managers for the Midget C and Rookie Leagues,

The beginning date for playoffs in Midget C and Rookie League has been revised.

Midget C and Rookie playoffs will begin on Wednesday, July 8 and conclude no later than Sunday, July 19.

Playoff Information Midget A and Midget B Leagues

Managers and League Managers for the Midget A and Midget B Leagues,

With the end of the season approaching, we want to give everyone a heads up on the playoffs.
 
Playoffs for Midget B and Midget A will begin on Tuesday, July 7, with the format to be determined based upon the number of teams that qualify.  Depending on final records, either three or four teams will qualify in Midget B and Midget A.
 
Playoffs will be completed on or before Sunday, July 19.

Standings and Game Results

Games that have been played, but where no score has been entered will appear as ties. These are computed as losses for winning pct. until the Managers or League Managers enter the scores. See the News Item below for entering Game Results.

Entering Game Results - Regular Season Games

Managers:
The Home Team Manager needs to contact your League Manager (See the "Contact Information" selection on the Left Manu for Laegue Manager contacts) within 24 hours after a game to relay your Game Results. The Home Team is responsible for relaying the game score.

League Managers:
How to enter Game Results
  1. First make sure you are signed in as Manager/Admin.
  2. Select "Teams" from the menu tabs at the top of the page (you may have to select Season, League and Team at the top of the page).
  3. Select "Results" from the menu pages at the left.
  4. On the team results page, find the game you wish to edit and click on the "Edit" icon to the right of the game.
  5. Enter score or any additional result changes and optionally, game commentary.
  6. Click “Submit” to confirm changes.

On the left menu of this web site you will find helpful links such as "Documents", “Directionsand the “Feedback” button. These will help Players, Parents and Managers navigate the KC 3&2 web site. Each Team has their own space for team information.
 
To receive a Text Message for Game Cancellations on your mobile phone, make sure you have entered the correct mobile phone number and selected the appropriate “Provider” option next to your “Cell Phone” entry in your personal information. This information is usually entered at registration. REMEMBER: If you select test messages for your notifications you will not receive emails for game notifications. It is an either or function. All messages sent via email will still be delivered as email. This only applies to game notifications. Text messages are limited to a specific number of characters.
 
To receive text messages for game reminders
  1. Click on the “Edit My Account” selection from the left menu of the http://kc3and2.com web site.
  2. Log in with the proper credentials.
  3. Enter your cell phone number in the “Cell Phone” section and select your cell phone provider in the “Provider” section.
  4. Click “Submit”.
 
Find a Team’s web page
  1. Click on the "Teams" selection from the menu tabs at the top of the web page.
  2. Select “Season” from the horizontal selection drop down menu.
  3. Select “League” from the horizontal selection drop down menu.
  4. Select “Team” from the horizontal selection drop down menu.

Registering as a Coach, if you do not have a Player in KC 3&2 Baseball, is easy if you follow the instructions in the “Documents” section of this web site. Your Team Manager has send a list of Managers to be added to their Roster.
